"I only count on myself," says de Minaur about the ATP Finals

Alex de Minaur is in the running to qualify for the ATP Finals at the end of the year. Currently 7th in the Race, the Australian is in a good position to qualify.

Asked about this in a press conference after his victory against Nuno Borges, the Australian stated that he does not worry about the results of his competitors: "My way of looking at the Race as a whole is that I only count on myself.

If I keep winning matches, I'll give myself a good chance to qualify. Honestly, I'm not really interested in the others, who wins, who loses, how the Race is going.

If I keep winning, I'll have fewer problems, fewer worries. In the end, I'm focusing on my next match, and if I can win it, that will help me."

Qualified for the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters 1000, de Minaur will face Daniil Medvedev or Learner Tien.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
