Alex de Minaur is in the running to qualify for the ATP Finals at the end of the year. Currently 7th in the Race, the Australian is in a good position to qualify.

Qualified for the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters 1000, de Minaur will face Daniil Medvedev or Learner Tien.
