These two weeks have been very positive after a very difficult month and a half," rejoices Paolini

Jasmine Paolini regained confidence in Cincinnati where she reached the tournament final, losing to Iga Swiatek, the in-form player of the moment.
The Italian stated she was very satisfied with her run in Ohio and is regaining confidence after very mixed tournament performances.
She says: "These two weeks have been very positive after a very difficult month and a half. I am satisfied with the level I reached in this tournament. I could have served a bit better, but it's still a positive tournament for me."
Initially entered in the US Open mixed doubles draw with Lorenzo Musetti, she explained her withdrawal: "I decided to withdraw after the semifinal (in Cincinnati). I play singles and doubles every week, and it's tough.
Taking a night flight and playing the next morning or afternoon is too much. I need to recover. I would have liked to play with Lorenzo Musetti. It's a magnificent competition.
But at the same time, I have to think about my body, and I believe the best thing is to recover for a day or two to be ready mentally and physically for the US Open.
