Tim Henman Confident About Raducanu's Coaching Changes: "She's Comfortable With It"

After her strong performances in Miami, Raducanu hopes to maintain her momentum. The British player is expected to continue her schedule at the Billie Jean King Cup and the Open de Rouen.
Spotted in Emma Raducanu’s box in Florida, Mark Petchey has become the coach of the 22-year-old player.
The former player and commentator is the second coach hired this year by the world No. 48, following her brief collaboration with Vladimir Platenik earlier this month.
However, busy with his commitments for Tennis Channel, Petchey will not be able to work full-time, reports Tennis Up To Date.
While many see these instabilities in her team as a hindrance to her progress, others, like Tim Henman, believe this new situation isn’t necessarily a problem:
"Petchey obviously works for Tennis Channel and has commitments with them going forward. It will be interesting to see what the next step is for Emma.
I think when she talks about having fun and being authentic, it gives her the freedom to express herself on the court," Henman told Sky Sports during their broadcast of the Miami Open final.
"That said, she does things differently. She's very comfortable—she's changed coaches. It's not necessarily what everyone would choose to do, but she's comfortable with change.
Building physical resilience is the most important thing, and that’s what she’s lacked because her career has been backwards. Raducanu won a Slam without having that physical foundation.
The big positive this year is that she can compete more regularly, and hopefully, the results will follow," he said.
