Touching, Djokovic addresses his family: "I'm so grateful to be the dad of these two adorable angels"
There was nothing Novak Djokovic could do on Sunday. Up against an in-form Carlos Alcaraz, the Serb simply didn't play well enough to have any hope.
Beaten soundly (6-2, 6-2, 7-6), he nonetheless made a point of addressing a nice message to his wife and children: "To my wife, I love you! Thank you for putting up with me and being here with me. To my wonderful children, thank you for the smile you bring me every day. Every time I see them like this, I'm so grateful to be the daddy of these two adorable angels who are beginning to love tennis, moreover, more and more.
I don't know if I'd have the nerve to coach my son, but tennis isn't the only wonderful thing in life. Choose what you like and I'll be right there by your side. Okay, enough talking!
