Unusual - Sabalenka and Pegula Toast with Margaritas After Their Final Clash in Miami

This Saturday, Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula faced off in the final of the WTA 1000 in Miami. Despite a tight first set, the Belarusian world No. 1 ultimately pulled ahead and secured the win in straight sets (7-5, 6-2), claiming her second title of the season after her victory in Brisbane in early January and her 8th WTA 1000 title of her career.
After the final, Sabalenka celebrated her title on the Tennis Channel set, where a Margarita cocktail was waiting for her. Mid-interview, Pegula showed up and stole her drink.
Luckily for the Belarusian, a second Margarita was nearby, and the two players clinked glasses just minutes after being rivals on the court (see video below).
A heartwarming moment that left the Tennis Channel reporters in stitches, showcasing the camaraderie and mutual respect between the two players off the court.
Sabalenka later reacted on Instagram with a story: "This is why I love Jessica." Pegula, meanwhile, will have to quickly head to Charleston, where she’ll be the No. 1 seed in South Carolina.
