Vekic ends Sun's Wimbledon dream
Donna Vekic became the first player to reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon on Tuesday afternoon. The Croatian, ranked 37th in the world, ended the dream run of New Zealand qualifier Lulu Sun, ranked 123rd in the world. She won in 2 hours and 3 sets (5-7, 6-4, 6-1).
She will face Italy's Jasmine Paolini, who dominated American Emma Navarro later in the day, in her bid to reach the final.
