Tennis fans are witnessing a historic moment this Sunday, June 8, 2025. In a titanic battle, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are engaged in an epic and exceptional duel. Although Sinner had three championship points in the fourth set, the Italian eventually saw Alcaraz make a comeback before the latter forced a decisive fifth set.
In this set, the world number 2 thought he had done the hardest part by breaking serve at the outset, but when serving for the match, Sinner played a very good return game and leveled the score at 5-5. The tension became increasingly apparent, but the defending champion clinched a decisive super tie-break following a monumental point concluded by an exceptional backhand passing shot (see video below).
