Video - Nadal has arrived at Roland-Garros to attend his tribute ceremony
Nadal has indeed arrived at Roland-Garros, where he is scheduled to receive a tribute organized by the event. The record holder for titles at Porte d'Auteuil, the Spaniard will be honored for his outstanding performances in Paris, with the presence of his three Big 4 peers: Federer, Djokovic, and Murray.
Retired since November 2024, the Majorcan faced very challenging months before making this decision. After his 14th title at Roland-Garros in 2022, the Spaniard withdrew from the Wimbledon semi-final, then attempted to hold on until the 2023 Australian Open, only to stop entirely for a year. The year 2024 was also challenging, with defeats in the second round of Barcelona and Rome, among others, and an early exit at home in Paris.
The ceremony will take place right after the daytime session on the Philippe-Chatrier court.
