Video - Present at the Next Gen ATP Finals, Fils hits balls with children
Arthur Fils is enjoying himself at the end of the year. Injured in the back since Roland-Garros, the Frenchman has barely played since, except at the Toronto Masters 1000.
The 21-year-old player, ranked 40th in the world, is preparing his return to the highest level starting in January 2026. While waiting to rediscover the joys of competition, the former top 15 member was spotted in Jeddah, host city of the Next Gen ATP Finals.
Fils has fun with children in Saudi Arabia
In October 2025, the native of Courcouronnes announced he had become an ambassador for the PIF, the Saudi public investment fund. In recent hours, he was seen on the court at the Next Gen ATP Finals in Jeddah to perform the coin toss for the first semifinal between Blockx and Budkov Kjaer.
That's not all, as Fils also hit balls with children during the week. The moment was captured by tournament cameras (see video below).
