Video - Ruud in moped mode against Berrettini in Tokyo

Casper Ruud didn't let up in the second round of Tokyo against Matteo Berrettini.

After facing local player Mochizuki in his opening match (4-6, 6-1, 6-1), Ruud took on Italian Berrettini in the following round. Troubled in the first set, the Norwegian maintained his composure afterward to win with a score of 7-6, 6-2.

Known for his movement quality, the three-time Grand Slam finalist didn't have an easy match against the 2021 Wimbledon finalist. Indeed, he had to work hard during this 13-shot rally, covering the entire court to retrieve his opponent's shots.
