Video - Sinner Returns to Training After Withdrawal in Cincinnati
On Monday, Jannik Sinner had to throw in the towel in the final of the Cincinnati Masters 1000, affected by a virus.
The world number one, far from being in condition to play at his best level, observed a short period of rest, also skipping the mixed doubles tournament.
This Thursday, he reappeared all smiles on Arthur Ashe court to carry out his first training session of the week (see video below).
He was able to greet his rival Carlos Alcaraz. The two players will compete for the top spot in the ATP rankings during the fortnight.
