A consummate showman, Nick Kyrgios has never been afraid to attempt spectacular shots, as evidenced by this point during the 2016 edition of the Tokyo tournament.

Facing Luxembourg's Gilles Muller in the quarterfinals, the Australian had little trouble dispatching his opponent of the day: 6-4, 6-2 in just over an hour of play (1h10).

While the match seemed one-sided, it didn't take long for Kyrgios to liven up the game with shots only he could pull off. Indeed, in the third game of the second set, the Canberra native electrified the Japanese crowd with a tweener followed by a winning crosscourt backhand.

A move that epitomized his tournament, as Kyrgios then went on to win in the semifinals against Monfils (6-4, 6-4) and in the final against Goffin (4-6, 6-3, 7-5) to claim the third title of his career.

Despite top-10 ATP rankings and consistent excellence, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gaël Monfils, Richard Gasquet, and Gilles Simon never claimed a Grand Slam title, enduring mockery from French media amid Big 3 dominance. A deep dive into a talented generation defined by sky-high expectations and brutal competition.

Carlos Alcaraz has the New younger person to win the Australian Open and I hope he will regain French open 2026 also. As per my Guess he will be the best player to achieve the 20 Grand Slams in Younger age Only. I hope all the best to Carlos.
