Tomas Machac failed to win his first match of the season. Playing against Casper Ruud in the United Cup, the Czech didn't lose out, but in the end was defeated after 2 hours 54 minutes (7-6, 5-7, 6-4).

Questioned at the press conference, the 24-year-old nevertheless remained positive. He had a difficult pre-season due to illness, and was pleasantly surprised by his level of play: "Despite everything, I enjoyed the match. Before this tournament, I was ill. I wasn't able to achieve the pre-season I wanted. But I fought hard and was surprised by my level over three sets."

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
