Volandri on Sinner: "He wrote to me every day"
Jannik Sinner decided to skip the Davis Cup in this year 2025. However, he remained in close contact with Italy's captain, Filippo Volandri.
Italy won the Davis Cup last Sunday against Spain. Jannik Sinner, a major absence from the Italian team's journey, nevertheless closely followed his team's performances.
Filippo Volandri, the captain, revealed that he had been regularly in contact with the world number 2 throughout the past week.
