Wawrinka and Gaston Headline the Rennes Challenger, Full Draw Revealed

Although all eyes are on the US Open grand final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, tennis never stops and is making its return to Europe with, among others, the Rennes Challenger.
The draw for the event, whose qualifiers started this Sunday, was revealed yesterday. Hugo Gaston will be the number one seed and will face Germany’s Christoph Negritu in his opening match. He will be looking to regain confidence, having won only two of his last nine matches and having ended his collaboration with Younes El Aynaoui this week.
Stan Wawrinka, 40, will be the other player closely watched in Brittany. The Swiss veteran and three-time Grand Slam champion has drawn a qualifier in the first round.
A large number of French players are entered in the draw (see post below), with three wild cards awarded by the organizers to Sean Cuenin (606th), Maé Malige (534th), and Daniel Jade (no ATP ranking).
Last year, spectators witnessed Jacob Fearnley’s triumph in the final over Quentin Halys.
