We are all at the same level, says a player who faced Boisson three months ago

Alina Charaeva, a Russian player training in Spain, gave an interview to the media outlet Punto de Break. The world No. 185 notably discussed Loïs Boisson, a player she faced last March in an ITF tournament.

She stated: "Right now, everyone knows how to play tennis; even those in the Top 400 play well.

The best example is Loïs Boisson, who reached the Roland-Garros semifinals a few days ago. How is that possible?

Because we are all at the same level, all the girls play well, we master our forehands and backhands, we can do everything. Currently, Boisson is in the Top 70, but three months ago, she was playing against me in a $30,000 tournament here in Spain.

And now, look at her, reaching the semifinals of a Grand Slam.
