Wednesday's weather report for Roland-Garros - Rain continues to play spoilsport
Another rainy day at Roland-Garros on Wednesday. The matches started on schedule (11:00), but were suspended by the rain after just 45 minutes. Play continued only under the closed roofs of the two main courts, Philippe Chatrier and Suzanne Lenglen.
Showers are still forecast for the rest of the afternoon, but things should improve slightly. From 2.00 pm onwards, the drops should be much rarer, falling only intermittently from the clouds encumbering the Parisian sky.
This should allow tennis to resume on the annex courts. However, conditions will remain very damp. To be confirmed.
