"What's going on here?", Swiatek surprised by a journalist's question at the US Open
Iga Swiatek is no stranger to unpleasant experiences during press conferences, as well as with the media in general.
Following her qualification for the third round of the US Open, the world No. 2 had to respond to a surprising question posed by a journalist during the press conference.
The journalist asked the Polish player if she planned, like Naomi Osaka, to put beads in her hair during her matches.
Swiatek: "What kind of question is that?"
Journalist: "Have you thought about putting beads in your hair?"
Swiatek: "No. What's going on here? What was that question?"
A reaction that did not please the journalist, who decided to leave the press room, leaving the player perplexed.
