Wimbledon 2025: The list of participants unveiled with ten French players in the main draw
Starting in late June, the third Grand Slam of the season will take place at Wimbledon. On the London grass courts, 128 players will line up in the main draw and attempt to succeed Carlos Alcaraz, who has been crowned against Novak Djokovic in the last two editions.
One month before the start of the tournament, the organization has unveiled the players in the main draw who will be present, with the order of the seeds. Without any real surprise, Jannik Sinner will be the number 1 seed, while Carlos Alcaraz, the two-time defending champion, will be at the bottom of the draw as the number 2 seed.
Winning the tournament seven times (just one shy of Roger Federer's record), Novak Djokovic will be the number 6 seed and could therefore face Sinner or Alcaraz as early as the quarterfinals.
Ten French players are also on the list. Among them, Arthur Fils and Ugo Humbert, who will be seeded, while Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is expected to be the top unseeded player of the tournament.
Alexandre Muller, Gaël Monfils, Quentin Halys, Benjamin Bonzi, Corentin Moutet, Arthur Rinderknech, and Hugo Gaston will be on the London courts in the coming weeks.
