"That's a different chapter of my life," Djokovic speaks about his current period

Novak Djokovic is currently on a series of three consecutive defeats. The Serb, who decided to skip the Masters 1000 in Rome, has entered the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva, which will serve as preparation for the French Open.
The former world number one will face Marton Fucsovics in his debut in the round of 16. Before taking to the court this Wednesday, Djokovic spoke at a press conference about his current period, as he is still seeking his 100th title on the ATP circuit.
“I look forward to playing a match on clay. I haven't played many this season. I haven’t even won one yet. From that point of view, it's not ideal. I hope I can play more than one here.
I hope to build my form before the main objective on this surface, which is the French Open, and play better than I have in the past month and a half. It's a different chapter of my life.
I'm not used to this kind of circumstance with two early eliminations. I don't think that's happened to me in the last twenty years. But I knew this moment was going to come.
It's hard for me to sit down and think about everything I've accomplished in my career. Of course, I am proud of it. But I still have the desire to win the biggest titles, to win Grand Slams, to be one of the best players in the world.
That's why I'm here, to play the Geneva tournament, because I'm trying to do things right, to win trophies again. The motivation is still there. My life has changed, but for the better. I feel that I still have the game to be a contender for Grand Slam titles.
It's always a great motivation. Obviously, I have more ups and downs. We’ve seen it for the past year and a half. Experiencing that is obviously not the best. But it is what it is. I have to accept it. My level may not be as consistent as it was before," Djokovic explained to L'Équipe.
