Wimbledon: The Women's Seeding List Is Revealed

After two weeks of grass-court competition, the seeding order for the women's draw at Wimbledon has been confirmed.

Aryna Sabalenka will be the No. 1 seed, just as she was at the Australian Open and Roland-Garros. Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula follow as the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds, respectively.

The top five is rounded out by Jasmine Paolini, last year's tournament finalist, and Qinwen Zheng. Iga Swiatek, still chasing her first title this season, is seeded No. 8. She has never advanced past the quarterfinals on the London grass.

2022 champion Elena Rybakina is seeded No. 11, while reigning titleholder Barbora Krejcikova sits at No. 17. McCartney Kessler, who won the Nottingham tournament today, is currently the last seeded player.

A withdrawal could benefit Xinyu Wang, who reached the Berlin final against Marketa Vondrousova. The Czech player, sidelined for months due to a shoulder injury, is unseeded and could become a dangerous floater in the draw.

The same applies to Ons Jabeur, a two-time finalist in 2022 and 2023, Tatjana Maria (recent Queen’s champion), Emma Raducanu, Belinda Bencic, Naomi Osaka, and Danielle Collins.
