With $10,881,500, Sinner won a third of Agassi's career earnings in two tournaments

Jannik Sinner is in fine form at the end of 2024, and so is his bank account. Undefeated champion at the ATP Finals, the Italian will earn the sum of 4,881,500 dollars.

Prior to this tournament, he played in the Six Kings Slam exhibition in Saudi Arabia. He won all three of his matches, taking home $6,000,000.

Adding these two sums together, Sinner won $10,881,500 in 8 matches played.

By way of comparison, this is around a quarter of Pete Sampras' career total ($43,280,489) and a third of Agassi's ($31,152,975).

Still in figures, in 2024 he won $16,914,035 on the ATP circuit, around half of what he earned in his entire career ($33,989,584).

He ranks 2nd among players who have earned the most money in a single year, behind Novak Djokovic in 2015 with $21,146,145.

These earnings are still a far cry from those of players outside the Top 100.

I really wish Alcaraz was far more consistent. We could see some great matches between him and Sinner. The the way things are developing it looks like watching tournaments and wondering who is going to be the runner up. The winner being a near foregone conclusion. Boring.
