Withdrawal in Berlin, Raducanu will not be seeded at Wimbledon
Emma Raducanu had a positive week at the WTA 500 in Queen's, winning her first two rounds against Bucsa (6-1, 6-2) and Sramkova (6-4, 6-1), before being defeated yesterday in the quarter-finals by Qinwen Zheng (6-2, 6-4).
However, the Brit had mentioned in a press conference a back discomfort that has been bothering her since the Strasbourg tournament. This is why she has withdrawn from the Berlin tournament starting Monday.
Ranked 36th in the live rankings, Raducanu will not have the opportunity to be seeded at Wimbledon. As a reminder, she reached the round of 16 there last year, losing to Lulu Sun.
