Without losing a set, Blanchet advances from the Roland Garros qualifiers
Ugo Blanchet (193rd) dominated his opponent of the day, Lukas Klein, with a score of 6-4, 7-5, earning his qualification for the main draw of Roland Garros.
Qualified for the first time in his career, the 26-year-old player demonstrated remarkable mental strength by first defeating Rodesch (7-6, 6-4), then Garin (7-6, 7-6), and finally Klein.
Winner of the Koblenz tournament this year, Blanchet joins his fellow Lyonnais Kyrian Jacquet among the French qualifiers for the Parisian Grand Slam. He also becomes the fourth French player to pass the qualifications.
