Wozniacki will not play in the Australian Open
Caroline Wozniacki has not appeared on a tennis court since last August, when she was eliminated in the last 16 of the US Open against Beatriz Haddad Maia.
She opted not to play at the end of last season in order to prepare herself as well as possible for 2025.
However, the Dane, ranked 70th in the world and winner of the Australian Open in 2018, has decided not to take part in the first Grand Slam of the season.
This absence will delay the start of the season for Wozniacki, who, at 34, has alternated between highs and lows since her return to competition in 2023.
