Zheng's Return to Competition Nears
Having undergone elbow surgery last July and missing the US Open, Zheng Qinwen is expected to return to the courts very soon.
Indeed, according to Spazio, the Chinese player has received the green light from her doctor to resume competition during the weekend of September 16–21 at the Billie Jean King Cup. She completed her rehabilitation in Switzerland.
She will thus have the responsibility of helping her team face Italy at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre Arena in Shenzhen, China.
To recall, the Chinese team is composed of Xinyu Wang, Yue Yuan, Shuai Zhang, Xinyu Jiang, and of course, Zheng Qinwen.
