Nobody gets to the 4th round of any slam because of being lucky unless that player is about to play Novak, according to experts, read full-time haters. So, Arnaldi earned his date with Alcaraz. Great for him! It's not Alcaraz's fault for rather not facing Norrie or Griekspoor. His proper challenge is supposed to start from the quarter final onwards. That's the usual case for top players, top title contenders when they are finally due to meet top 10 opponents...

Damn. Such a tough draw for Carlos.

Is there a shot not in Carlos' repertoire?

Tiafoe and shelton are no joke in the us open. Tiafoe is playin amaizing tennis as is ahelton and if you think otherwise you just being blinded by prejudice

unfortunately Carlito’s in 4… hope i’m wrong

People who say Djokovic is not boring , better watch Alcaraz matches.

Milutin
Tiafoe beat Nadal and Rublev, and almost beat Alcaraz who won USO last year in semis. So not easy at all

🤴 Carlos 🇪🇸, for the win & make the qtr final 👍

Bobo.
Matteo 🇮🇹 is much improved. A good test to check his game development and progress up the rankings against the best player at present. He will be up for it but unlikely Alcaraz losing this match.

Looks like an easy draw for carlos and for novak. They are the onky 2 good players on tour now🤣

Drop and plop...like that combo.

The guy who crushed Djokovic the last time he played in USO is not in his draw and sinner is nore dangerous than anybody else. It is amazing that some people try so hard to prove Djokovic's draw is not easy as usual.

Would not be surprised if Carlos loses even before finals! The curse of not defending USO title since 2008 might hunt him as well! I hope it won't

Next round (QF) novak is facing Fritz (ranked 9), carlos next carlos is facing either Sinner (ranked 6th) or zverev (ranked 12th).
Very similar to me. The difference is in semis novak will face either Shelton or Tiafoe which foe a semi is a joke. Carlos on the other hand might hace Medvedev which we know is a real theat on USO soil. Just check his results since 2019.

Net skills...and speed. Unmatched in the men's game presently.

Carlos is very good, but seems to go full force all the time a little brutish, that remained me Rafa. I don’t know if in the long run is the best way. But it’s his way, and refreshing compared to the others.

Guy knows how to close a match.

With a little help there...😛

Matteo needs to work on his serve if he wants to be competitive against top players.

Light work for the Spanish New Bull now the work starts Quarter and Semi where he is raise his level to a new height and hopefully be ready just in time for Final to kick some ass. VAMOS CARLOS
