Crazy second week at the US Open 😤

Alcaraz could be N°1 if:

- He wins the title.

- Nadal loses vs Tiafoe and he loses in the final to someone not named Ruud

Ruud could be N°1 if:

- He wins the title vs. someone not named Nadal.

- Nadal loses vs Tiafoe and he loses in the final to someone not name Alcaraz

Nadal could be N°if:

- He reaches the final.

- He loses in the QF or SF and Ruud & Alcaraz don't win the US Open

- He loses vs Tiafoe and Ruud & Alcaraz don't reach the final.

Carlitos for the QF. GO MAN!! 🙌🏻

This is the potential most insane one 📈

A final Alcaraz vs Ruud would have a first Major final to define the world number one.

JUST WOW!!!

Cannot look past Cilic... He's a former champion and has always played well here....I would not be surprised if he takes Alcaraz out here

Spanish/Mexican--same thing, Tasty Cakes.

Bichote Max.. It's not the moment of impact.. If your foot is touching the line during the service motion it's still a foot fault.

Ruud has to make finals first... With Kyrgios in his draw.. It looks unlikely. Medvedev can no longer be number 1...he could not defend his 1000 points from last year. If neither Alcaraz nor ruud win then it'll be Nadal.

Phenomenal and huge win. To the QF at the US Open for the second time. Amazing!

The very late finish for the kid and around 4 hours of slogging it out, helps Janni 🇮🇹 very nicely.

Does cilic have the legs to hang? 🤔 I don't think he does.

If cilic loose this match than there is no one lest on the drow who even win a slam.. so hopefully new U.S open winner this year

Alcaraz has a great chance to win his first slam now

Bro Cilic was 2-0 since then he has done 3 "FOOT FAULTS" and cost him 2 breaks. Lol

And Marin has been arguing with her, the chair umpire, ever since. Politely, without insults or yelling. Very nice!

Can’t believe Nadal lost

If you've noticed, Cilic has his foot on the line before he starts his serve and as he tosses the ball up, his foot turns inwards so it's tricky to spot this inward movement which is why he has been foot faulted thrice.

Is the foot fault called electronically?

Bichote Max... Yes they are

Carlos has a slight advantage in this match because both he and chair umpire speak Mexican language. Several times I have noticed them winking at each other while giving the thumbs up sign to each other.

He’s definitely not footfaulting ever at the moment of impact . The umpire can watch the replay and tell. I’m sure that machine is adjustable.if they can’t adjust they should disable it.

Newsflash: the language is called Spanish, not Mexican.

You're right. I totally forgot that Brits and Canadians actually speak American.
