@nole-d-djoker i didn't say age makes you play bad, i meant that age plays with your fitness. playing a best of 5 at 35 is different than playing a best of 5 at 25
and if you look at federer in 2017 he won AO, but how, well he stayed away from the game for 6 months so he had a lot of gas in the tank for that one tournament. same thing happened in the wimbledon. He sacrifised the clay season to have enough gas in the tank for wimbledon. But could not do the same for usopen.
and for the expert who think federer 2017 is better than federer in mid 2000s i simply disagree

Lol joker and nadal are 5 and 6 years younger but still they have taken big breaks which fed took at 35.
