Gaël needs this win, last match wasnt easy, this one is so hard to predict, Nishioka can be really surprising (for exemple against Humbert he was moving so well, while in Rome It was quite the opposite)

He's the type of Guy who have real issues during break points, I hope Gaël Can take advantage of him during the match, if he study a bit his opponent there's a lot to learn about his gameplay and which type of Balls/Shots make him struggle. (He's Bad in the T, a détail but usefull: Ive seen him fail to hit lobs many times, and he's not good at returning heavy balls on his backhand)

Yep, Monfils washed up with the rest of his has-been friends Warenka, Tsonga, Murray, Del Potro and all the other losers. Might as well join the Williams sisters moppin floors in the Kingdom Hall.

Gael 🇫🇷, to take the win, possibly go the distance.

Gaël really aint the same, has lost his hunger for the game.

Hope it's not a personal tragedy in the family or something.

Does not look his usual self.

Happy off court, not happy on it 😉

Atleast next time I know,

go for the other guy.

Definitely not the same Gael as he once was, always was a player who brought a smile to many people including me with some of his antics on court.

Such a pity. 😟

There's been ups and downs in the first set but overall Gaël did the job on the most important points

Nishioka giving away way too many break points and unforced errors, but he's playing way better than during Rome
