Djokovic and Murray's struggles really show why tennis is such an amazing game. Djokovic gets his French open, the title he yearned for, for years and mentally seems to check out. Murray finally gets to #1 and the same happens. Really goes to show you how big an impact confidence and drive can have. Nadal was written off several times and all of a sudden, here he comes like a locomotive. Federer did the same at the Aussie open, won't ever won another grand slam? He may have been running on fumes, but he was running. It's definitely an awkward time for Murray and Djokovic to go through their "existential" crisis because they were late bloomers (grand slam wise) but I can't wait what they will do when they get proper hungry and play against odds again. The second half of this season...there are going to be some serious slugfest.
