Disappointed but not surprised. Rafa is no longer in his 20s, and indoor hard? When has he ever truly excelled on the surface? Come home Rafa... Weather is still lovely and warm here on the island we both call home. Time for family now

A bit of lifeline gifted to avoid a breadstick. FAA is even having the fun of his life, smiling. He's actually making FAA feel so good enough to be capable of dismantling the rest of the field. But FAA knows better, he stands no chance against Novak. He will be schooled by the goat ala Novak should he make it thus far. Rafa, save yourself, family, newborn and fans any further embarrassment and retire gracefully. He cannot even break serve, pathetic!

Felix has been performing well lately and Rafa struggles to handle hard hitters on hard courts! mainly indoors

According to bookmarks Felix is a favorite 1,57, and Rafa underdog 2,35. That's kind of expectation for Felix to win 2 out of 3 matches at this point of time. Fair estimate, but Felix has to have on his A game in order to beat Rafa. Can't play below top standard and expect to beat Rafa, even though Rafa is undercooked. On top of that conditions are such, they favour Felix's style of play big time.

From 40-0, it was a pathetic game by Rafa and gifted a break. He couldn't convert two in the previous game and gifts like these look so bad. No consistency and focus from Rafa

The last time I checked, I didn't realise that Rafa was a mediocre returner at best!! What a disgrace. His backhand is more of a liability. He misses routine shots consistently. What is the point still playing if you are consistently outplayed, outserved and outreturned by players your main rival, Novak will have for breakfast. Enough of this embarrassment!

Rafa needs to win both matches to give himself a chance. Other than the surface and his lack of matches/form, he couldn't have expected a better group of players to reach the semis.



Rafa after Paris defeat itself conceded that he is undercooked and doesn't expect much from the year end masters.



I hope Rafa gives an improved performance and shows the will to fight

Same old story whenever Rafa or Nole lose. Everybody start saying that he need to retire, that he will never win a match. And then he starts winning and everybody start calling hin GOAT.



Don't be disaapointed, Rafa fans, on indoor hard he is not even in top 5 current players. He will return on clay if not earlier.
