I still think Marin can get to world no.1, when all the main guys retire, it’ll be him Delpo Tsitsipas and Zverev. He’s just going through a bad patch atm. He’s still the 5th/6th player in the world rn. The ones above him are the big 3, Stan and delpo. He has grand slam mentality which is something every single player other than them don’t have. Marin HAS to go down as a top 20 greatest of all time because he won a grand slam in the big 3 era. At his best, he is unbeatable unless he faces one of the other 5 players I mentioned at their best.

So the 7th best player of this stretch (8th including roddick) is top 20 all time? That will exclude a lot of great champions, then there is the ped violation, I like him he is tough but not top 20 all time

I can guarantee you that no player before the big 3 would’ve been able to capture a slam in the big 3 era.
