What a match from these incredible talents. Very sad that one of them has to lose in the first round. 😣
The best performance for the win.

I do believe if Jannik was as fresh as Denis the match would’ve gone his way... we’ll see in future matches

It's definitely a shame this is a first round match. Yet. These tactics won't help with Shapo's stress. He is known to have difficulty closing out a match.

So unnecessary though. Showmanship.

Interesting first one round I hope sinner can win and is not distracted by shapos threatics

Crazy that these two meet in the first round. Shame that one of them will have to exit the tournament on day 1...

No luck in this draw.

As for style of play and demeanor...I would choose Sinner over Shapo every time.

The difference in their UEs reveals so much as to their talent levels.

I would love to see this match in 4R o even in QF. A complete shame that one has to go in the first round.
They are incredibly good and very fun to watch.
Shapo backhand is a beauty ✨

What a match coming up, hope Sinner's legs not too tired.

Sinner the Winner,
needs to take it in 3/4 sets,
if it goes on longer,
Dennis the Menace,
will take it.

What a cross court shot!

Feels like fatigue just might cause Sinner this match

Li and Muguruza matches are scheduled for tomorrow don't know the reason this wasn't scheduled too?

Think Sinner going down here, Denis getting stronger the longer this match continues.

christinenelles88
Looks like a little gamesmanship going on now. Hate to see it.

christinenelles88
If Sinner just got half of his breakpoint opportunities this match would be over.

Denis very solid and on fire now, Sinner need a miracle to break back again.

Time is of the essence.
