Let's go Eli

Sir, the weak era comparison doesn't hold for her. She in fact played across the strongest eras, one with the hingis, davenport etc. And then with the henins, klijsters, sharapovas and she is still slinging it with the kerbers, muruguza's, haleps etc. Not to mention always havin her sister around. I think had she been in the real weak era of graff's domination, pre and post the 3 year glory period of seles, she would have many more grand slams. She is without doubt the greatest women's player of all time, even without considering her doubles achievements.

Serena and her sister are a couple of nasty individuals, everyone knows it and everyone would luv to see them retire! good riddance

I'm hoping for 3 sets, but after Serena's last match I'm not sure.

She's playing mighty focused.

Elina will know how well she has to play.

...........That's a few levels up from what
Elina has played so far.

Heart says Elina in 3

Head says Serena in 2 [6-3 6-4]

If it's Bianca in the final,
teach her a tennis lesson.

THERE IS NO WAY SERENA IS LOSING THIS FINAL

I hope Serena gets to 24. I remember her Wimbledon SF and F though - demolition followed by disaster. If she gets 24, she might find some inspiration to keep chasing more slams

Serena will win it all, she's been in the "On Fire" Zone since the start ?

Mr.chess
Serena don't even wave to the crowd or acknowlege them when she lumbers her way to her chair. At least Elina waved to crowd. I believe Elina will punish Serena for her nasty unsportsmanlike conduct.

Elina has much more about her that Sharapova does.

You'll see

These ESPN commentators are such arse kissers to Serena. Ask her if Patrick coached her from the stands again tonight.

Bichote_MAX
She has learned to be gracious in victory. Anyone can do that. , even Djoko. But she is the same arrogant and disrespectful b¡+€h when she loses. She is not fooling me.

Long live Serena the queen! ?

No one knows. Anyrhing can happen. Just cheer for whoever you guys are cheering for. With that said....Vamos Serena!!! ?☮

No one can see into the future, so come ts like "serena's will lose" etc are silly.

I am hoping Bianca can make the final, and I am then hoping that Serena wins the final, but what I want don't mean shit. May the best player win!

I think women's tennis is going to enter its strogest era ever with clean hitters like osaka and bianca. If Kerber and halep can hang in there for a few more years and barty and the likes of sloane can be more consistent, it'll probably overtake men's tennis, which is seriously on a decline.
I also think if serena gets to 25, she will retire. To me tennis of late for her felt more like a message she wanted to deliver about black athletes than enjoyment for her. The only reason i think she wants to get 25 is that.

Atleast we are guaranteed two great semis

The Serina of today is not the Serina of old! Unfortunately, all her opponents think they are playing the past Serina, which actually gives her the psychological edge over her them. Elina just needs to focus on playing her top level and she could win easily! This game will be won in the headspace before a ball is hit!

Good luck Elina ??, just concentrate on playing well & I think you stand a good chance, the old girl is definitely vulnerable, as she's not really been tested @ this tournament imho.

C'mon Serena! #24 awaits!

Damnnn these comments are EXTRA toxic today very tasty? I agree with all y’all saying the day Serena retires will be a good one, however. I genuinely have no idea how people are such huge fans of her but don’t like Novak or whatever. She’s obnoxious, over-dramatic to the point of being objectively annoying to watch and storms about and stares at her opponent like they’ve done something wrong by outplaying her. She’s a bloody great player, however. Like Federer, I believe she’s the main profiteer of playing in a weak early 00s era, also. She is not on Evert’s, Graf’s or Navratilova’s level
