If Iga ties Venus' consecutive match wins record that would be terrific. A long standing record being tied is a good thing for tennis. And a record being broken...even better.

...wait...wait...I've changed my mind. Iga for the win in 2 sets. I had been mistakenly handed the wrong stat sheets for both players so my calculations on the outcome of this match was slightly off.

@Juzer Venus was world no 3 when she started her streak, Serena was world no 1 at the start of her streak, Henis was world no 1 as well at the start. Iga started her streak at world no 7. So anyone who is winning 30+ matches in a row pretty much says there was no one at their level. The lower rank you start the streak from makes it more impressive. In this context I would rate Iga's streak a notch better than the rest, moreover it's an ongoing one.
