Corrections Policy

Last updated: 15/04/2026

Despite our verification procedures, errors can always occur. TennisTemple is committed to correcting factual errors promptly and transparently, whether they are reported to us or detected by our own team.

Types of Errors Covered

This policy covers any factual inaccuracy published in our articles:

  • Errors in name, nationality, ranking or score
  • Errors in date, location or schedule
  • Incorrectly attributed or mistranslated quote
  • Misinterpreted or out-of-context information
  • Incorrect link, image or figure

How We Handle Corrections

Depending on the severity of the error, we apply one of the following methods:

  • Silent correction (minor errors, typos, broken URL): the correction is made without any specific mention.
  • Noted correction (factual error concerning a material element: result, ranking, identity): the article is corrected and the modification date is updated. A note at the bottom of the article may indicate the nature of the correction and the date.
  • Major correction (error that alters the overall meaning of an article, erroneous accusation, false key information): the article is corrected, an explicit correction notice is added, and, if necessary, a separate clarification article is published.

Correction Timeframe

Urgent corrections (false information still online) are processed within a maximum of 24 hours after receiving the report, and generally within a few hours.

Report an Error

If you identify an error in one of our articles:

  • Address: contact@tennistemple.com
  • Specify the URL of the article in question
  • Indicate the problematic section (paragraph, sentence, data point)
  • If possible, provide a link to the correct source for verification

We acknowledge receipt of all reports and will inform you of how your request is handled.

No Correction of Opinions

This policy applies solely to factual errors. Opinions, analyses or interpretations expressed in our articles fall under editorial freedom and are not subject to corrections based on disagreement.

Archives

TennisTemple does not delete corrected articles: they remain accessible at their original URL. Only their content is adjusted, in accordance with journalistic best practices.
