A 19-year-old Russian player doesn't like watching Sinner: "It's becoming uninteresting".

A 19-year-old Russian player doesn't like watching Sinner: It's becoming uninteresting.

Jannik Sinner was undoubtedly the ATP Tour boss of 2024.

With eight titles, including two Grand Slams, three Masters 1000 and the ATP Finals, the Italian splashed the season with his talent.

And there's more to come, as the world number 1 has shown his country the way to the Davis Cup semi-finals.

In any case, not everyone is happy about Sinner's success. Elena Pridankina, a 19-year-old Russian player, said she wasn't interested in watching the winner of this year's Australian Open and US Open.

In an interview with the media outlet Championat, she gave her thoughts on the San Candido native: "If you watch Jannik Sinner's latest matches, you can see that he's constantly winning.

Somewhere, you even feel sorry for his opponents, because they don't know what to do.

It becomes uninteresting, because you know he'll end up winning the match anyway," she assured us in recent hours.

Since the Cincinnati Masters 1000, Sinner has won 28 of his 29 singles matches, losing only in the Beijing final to Carlos Alcaraz on the main circuit.

Because Sinner has improved his consistency, he's become the man to beat in every tournament he's in. Tennis fans can only hope inconsistent Alcaraz shows up when an opponent and maybe pull off the upset. I still believe Alcaraz on his best day is distinctly better than Sinner on his best day. But Sinner has a lot more 'best days' than Alcaraz.
