Mirra Andreeva shared her thoughts on the support she receives from her coach, Conchita Martinez, from the bench:

"Conchita helps me not to be defensive all the time. When I have the opportunity, I try to be aggressive. I think it works quite well, and I'm very happy that we can all see these changes and the results."

The player, who is ranked 11th in the world, is in great form. The Russian, crowned at the WTA 1000 in Dubai two weeks ago, has not yet lost a single set at Indian Wells.

But she also doesn't hide the psychological support she receives: "When I feel like I need to talk, I send her a message. I try to talk about how I feel. I seek help, and we try to find solutions."
