ATP 250 Geneva Draw: Djokovic Could Face Arnaldi Again, Fritz Gets Tough Path

With just eight days to go before the main draw at Roland-Garros, several players will fine-tune their preparations at the Geneva tournament.
This includes Novak Djokovic, who has played only two matches on clay this year (early exits in Monte-Carlo and Madrid) and, like last year, surprisingly entered the Swiss event. Seeded No. 2, he received a bye and will face either Zizou Bergs or Marton Fucsovics in his opening match.
A potential quarterfinal clash against Matteo Arnaldi, who defeated him in Madrid, is on the cards. The Italian will start against Hugo Gaston, with a possible second-round match against Fabian Marozsan or a qualifier.
Top seed Taylor Fritz will face either Jaume Munar, a Rome quarterfinalist, or Quentin Halys in his opener. He could have a tough challenge against Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals. The Pole, who reached the last eight at the Foro Italico this week, will first take on Arthur Cazaux, with a potential second-round match against Arthur Rinderknech or Miomir Kecmanovic.
Finally, some intriguing first-round matches to watch include Nishikori-Tien, Borges-Michelsen, and Popyrin-Jarry.
