ATP Auckland unveils its entry list with Shelton as headliner
Placed just before the Australian Open, the ATP 250 tournament in Auckland (January 6-11, 2025) will not have the honor of featuring one or more Top 10 players next year.
Ben Shelton, ranked 21st in the world, will be the tournament's number 1 seed for the second year running, ahead of defending champion Alejandro Tabilo and Sebastian Baez.
On the French side, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard will be seeded n°5, while Gaël Monfils, ranked 55th in the world, has made the cut for the main draw.
Among the alternates who could enter the draw following a player's withdrawal, we note the presence of several interesting names (including four Frenchmen): Mannarino, Moutet, Muller, Gaston, Van de Zandschulp, Fognini and this year's finalist Taro Daniel.
