Highly unpredictable, the Canadian seems to be in great form this week and could well be the surprise of these Games in the men's category.

After two extremely quiet victories, he has just subdued a helpless Daniil Medvedev in a match lasting just over 1h30 (6-3, 7-6).
Very solid and aggressive in the rallies (27 winners, 17 unforced errors), but above all impassive on serve (9 aces, 89% of points won on first serve), Auger-Aliassime will be playing in the quarter-finals of the singles tournament.
His level of play is so promising that he could go even further.
For a place in the semi-finals, he will meet the winner of the specialist duel between Ruud and Cerundolo.
