Barazzutti confident about Musetti's future: "He can aspire to become the best in the world"

Finalist in Monte-Carlo and in the semifinals in Madrid, Musetti is having an impressive first half of the clay-court season. The Italian will be ranked 8th in the world next Monday.
While the 23-year-old has shown ambition for the rest of his career, he is not the only one who believes in his potential. Indeed, Corrado Barazzutti expressed confidence in his compatriot's abilities in an interview with *Corriere dello Sport*:
"After Sinner and Alcaraz, there’s Draper, Fonseca, and Mensik. Lorenzo is part of that group. Like them, he can aspire to become the best in the world. Why wouldn’t he try? He has proven himself, but above all, he has an extraordinary capacity to improve. He has already taken a fundamental step: balancing his talent with more concrete tennis.
Lorenzo has always been a player with significant potential, with one of the best games in the world. Last year, however, he lacked consistency, discipline, and a bit of self-confidence. But it was only a matter of continuity. He now plays a more mature, concrete, and even 'dirtier' game, as he himself put it.
He has learned to manage his talent in the best possible way—sometimes sacrificing flashy play to be more clinical. Now, he truly knows how to drive his own car. And on clay, he is already among the best in the world."
