Bublik advances to the final in Kitzbühel, less than a week after his title in Gstaad
Alexander Bublik’s decision to return to clay after Wimbledon is proving more than worthwhile.
After winning his first title in Gstaad last week during his debut appearance at the tournament, the Kazakh will now aim for a double in Kitzbühel, a feat Matteo Berrettini achieved last season.
Indeed, Bublik defeated Botic Van de Zandschulp (6-3, 6-4) this Friday to secure his spot in the final of the Austrian tournament. Without dropping a single set in the competition and on a seven-match winning streak, he will face Arthur Cazaux tomorrow for the title.
