World No. 25, Flavio Cobolli sets no limits for himself, between following in the footsteps of his idol and making history in tennis.
Flavio Cobolli is ambitious and he makes it known in the media. Having had the best season of his young career with a quarterfinal at Wimbledon and two titles on clay (Bucharest and Hamburg), the Italian dreams of reaching the top.
This is what he stated in an interview with the media outlet Ubitennis, also mentioning his desire to follow in the footsteps of a certain Novak Djokovic:
"I dream of being Djokovic's heir, but there are obviously other very strong players who will try to become it. However, he has been my idol since I was a child, so it would be an honor to get close to him, even though he is the greatest player in history and it will be impossible to find his heir."
