Grigor Dimitrov has yet to find his rhythm. Beaten in the 3rd round in Montreal by Popyrin last week, despite match points, the Bulgarian fell in the 2nd round (he was exempt from the 1st round due to his n°8 seed status) this Thursday in Cincinnati. He was beaten in almost 2 hours and 3 sets (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) by Fabien Marozsan.
Another disappointment for Stefanos Tsitsipas. After a hard-fought victory over Jan-Lenard Struff in the 1st round on Wednesday (4-6, 6-4, 6-3), he lost in the 2nd round on Thursday. The Greek, who has decided to stop being coached by his father, was dominated by Jack Draper (3-6, 6-4, 7-5), although he served to win the match in the 3rd set.
