Novak Djokovic has done it.

At the age of 37, he has won the only trophy he was missing: the Olympic gold medal.

Buoyed by his insane level of tennis, the Serb won a prodigious final against Carlos Alcaraz (7-6, 7-6 in 2h51).

Interviewed after his victory, it was an emotional and delighted Djokovic who spoke to the press: "Is the puzzle complete now? Yes, it is.

This is one of my biggest inner battles. I'm fighting with myself and with this feeling that I haven't done enough in my life, on and off the court. So it's a great lesson for me.

I'm very grateful for the chance to win a historic gold medal for my country. To break all records. Is it enough now? I think so."

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
