Everyone can achieve good results or even win the tournament," says Alcaraz about the current top 30
Present at a press conference Friday at Roland-Garros, Carlos Alcaraz spoke on various topics before beginning the defense of his title.
The world No. 2 and four-time Grand Slam winner notably gave his opinion on the level of the current Top 30:
"In general, the top 20, 25, or 30 has a very high level of tennis. We've seen it with Mensik, for example. He's 20 or 21 years old and won in Miami. It shows how strong the top 30 is right now.
I saw that Sascha (Zverev) talked about it because ten years ago, the top 10 was certainly stronger than today.
But the current top 30 is very, very strong. We have a very open field. Everyone can achieve good results or even win the tournament. I think it's a very good thing for tennis.
