Expeditious Jeanjean reaches semi-finals at Florianopolis

Léolia Jeanjean continues her perfect run in Brazil. After her first two wins over Daria Lodikova (6-1, 7-6) and Nina Stojanovic (6-1, 6-1), the 29-year-old Frenchwoman brilliantly qualified for the semi-finals of the Florianopolis tournament.
In the quarters, she overcame Ukrainian player Valeriya Strakhova (6-2, 6-1) in just 59 minutes of play.
For a place in the final, Jeanjean will face Maja Chwalinska, a 23-year-old Polish player currently ranked 158th in the world by the WTA.
The match will be played this Saturday at 3pm (French time). The other semi-final will pit top seed Maria Carle against Ylena In-Albon.
