Fritz takes aim at the quality of the bullets: "They were the deadest bullets ever!
Eliminated in the 2nd round of the ATP 500 in Dallas by Denis Shapovalov, Taylor Fritz spoke to Tennis Channel about an injury he suffered after the Australian Open due to a change in ball quality.
The world No. 4 suffered a muscle tear after training with balls completely different from those used in Melbourne:
"I injured myself because of the balls that were supposed to be the same as the ones we use in Australia. But they weren't.
They were the deadest bullets ever. I had to put my whole body into every shot I hit.
I think I tore something slightly, but I managed to recover during my time here."
